An Enterprise Solutions Company

Comtech senior consultants designed the graphic user interface for a call management system. The system is used by sales personnel and telephone sales to record customer contacts, keep general information about customers in one place, make plans for customer callbacks, and manage and monitor the customer contact process.

The Comtech team worked together closely with the product-development team at the enterprise solutions company. We met with users, watched them perform their tasks with the old system, and conducted usability tests with paper prototypes of the new design. We established the basic metaphor for the interface design and worked with the functional design team to ensure that the required functionality was in place and clearly usable. We created task and user scenarios to understand workflow and wrote user profiles to capture details about the relevant characteristics of the user community.
