Host an In-house Workshop

We offer workshops in the following
areas:
- Management (project management, change management, strategic planning, content management, outsourcing and offshoring management)
- Information Design (downsizing, online standards and structure, and information design)
- Interface Design
- Quality (quality metrics, usability testing)
- Customer Studies/User and Task Analysis

Your company provides |
Your company arranges for and provides, at no cost to Comtech:
Classroom. Proper facilities for conducting the workshop.
Equipment. Any necessary equipment for training purposes. Depending upon the needs
of the workshop, this may include a screen in the front of the room, LCD projector, power strip, flip charts, flip chart paper, and pens/markers for flip charts.
Breakfast. Arrange and pay for breakfast (bagels or pastries),
refreshments (coffee, tea, water and possibly juice), and snacks.
Local liaison. You'll provide Comtech with a list of hotels, directions, and
security instructions for the instructor.
Lunch. Arrange and pay for local catering of lunch.

Comtech provides |
Comtech arranges for and provides, at no cost to your company:
Instruction. One of the Comtech workshop leaders will conduct the workshop.
Instructional materials. We'll furnish instructional aids usual for each
course, including workbooks, pamphlets, and diagrams.

Enrollment |
Maximum class size. This will depend upon the size of the available
classroom and the requirements of the workshop. Some workshops demand more one-on-one
feedback and must be limited in size. Typical maximum size is 25 attendees.

Fees |
The cost for an in-house workshop in the US is $11,500 plus the
instructor's travel and shipment of workshop supplies. Please contact us at 303-232-7586 for non-US workshop prices.

Customization |
The instructor always targets the workshop
somewhat to meet the needs of the attendees; she will want to talk to you about your goals for
the training. Should it be necessary to perform an extensive customization on the workshop
materials to meet your goals, JoAnn will give you a quote in advance.

Dates and times |
The workshop must be scheduled at least three months in advance to allow for adequate publicity. We'll consult with you to reach a mutually agreeable date.
Workshops are usually conducted during normal working
days between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM each day.

Cancellation |
Either party may cancel the workshop for any reason at
least 15 days prior to the scheduled commencement date of the workshop to be canceled.
|
Confidentiality |
Comtech will sign a confidentiality agreement if required.
|
Contract |
After discussing the workshop with you, we'll prepare a
simple contract, setting out what we've each agreed to.
